  6. Girish Chandra Ghosh was the editor of an English weekly published newspaper “Hindoo Patriot” in 1853. It was a nationalist publication known for its active role in exposing the oppression of indigo planters in Bengal.

  7. Metallolophia taleensis

    🔹New moth species that was discovered belongs to the rare genus ‘Metallolophia’, of which only 16 species are known globally and 3 in India

    🔹Distinguished from other species in the same genus by the presence of prominent oval black-edged oval green spot on upperside forewing and smaller spot on hindwing

    🔹Named it ‘Metallolophia taleensis’ after the Tale wildlife sanctuary in Arunachal Pradesh where it was discovered
