- SWAYAM platform – SWAYAM or Study Webs of Active -Learning for Young Aspiring Minds programme of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, Professors of centrally funded institutions like IITs, IIMs, central universities will offer online courses to citizens of India. SWAYAM is an instrument for self-actualisation providing opportunities for a life-long learning. Here learner can choose from hundreds of courses , virtually every course that is taught at the university / college / school level and these shall be offered by best of the teachers in India and elsewhere. If a student is studying in any college, he/she can transfer the credits earned by taking these courses into their academic record. If you are, working or not working, in school or out of school, SWAYAM presents a unique educational opportunity to expand the horizons of knowledge. Government proposes to leverage information technology and launch SWAYAM Platform with at least 350 online courses. This will enable students to virtually attend the courses taught by the best faculty; access high quality reading resources, participate in discussion forums; take tests and earn academic grades. Access to SWAYAM would be widened by linkage with DTH channels, dedicated to education

- Skill Strengthening for Industrial Value Enhancement (STRIVE) – Skills Training for Industrial Value Enhancement (STRIVE) Operation essentially aims at improving the relevance and efficiency of vocational training provided through Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) and apprenticeship programs and the interventions planned are expected to result in substantial social and environmental benefits to the society at large, especially, to the poor and vulnerable sections.
- Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) – SPV is also called special purpose entity (SPE) or special purpose corporation (SPC) created to fund projects in the various sectors of economy. The SPVs are expected to lend funds, especially debt funds of longer maturity, directly to eligible projects to supplement loans from banks and financial institutions. The SPV becomes a vehicle for channelizing funds for projects in the roads, ports, airports, and tourism sectors.
